The appeal for me was the switching between real life (todays world) and the fictional world of Atticus Pünd, set in the 1950’s. This is a very entertaining but not very challenging who-dun-it. Susan sets about trying to discover the last chapter of the story and unwittingly ends up investigating the death of Alan Conway. A very important chapter in a who-dun-it, as it explains how the detective/investigator discovers the murderer.
